Menu of Services

In-Home Consultation

A representative of The Finishing Touch will come to your home (at an hourly rate) to assist you with your home decorating needs. Our specialty is custom bedding and window treatments.

We will bring along pictures for you to select your style from as well as fabric and trim samples to complete your project. Because we have thousands of samples available, we will conduct a telephone interview prior to your in home consultation so we can narrow the selections prior to our meeting in person.
While in your home, we will be able to determine your exact needs. This helps to simplify the design process as we take into account your personal taste and style. Additionally, we will be able to assess any design challenges and tailor make the treatments for your home.

Fabrication Studio appointments are also available upon request.

Measuring Service

Measuring for your project is a critical step in the design process. All measurements will be taken by a representative of The Finishing Touch, or may be subcontracted out to an installation company. This will ensure that your project will fit perfectly the first time.

Digital Renderings of Projects

It may be difficult to envision your project prior to completion. For this reason, The Finishing Touch provides digital renderings of your project (upon request for a nominal fee) so that you can have a preview of what your project will look like.

This process allows you the ability to see several design options on your very own windows in a matter of minutes. Take a look at some of our Digital Renderings for previous clients.

Fabrication Studio

The Finishing Touch not only offers design services, but we complete most of our projects in our very own Fabrication Studio. In most cases, the person who sells you the treatment will also be the one who fabricates the item.

Some of our items may be sub-contracted out, but you will be made aware of this in advance. You can rest assured that our fabricators and
sub-contractors provide the utmost attention to detail and you will be thrilled with the outcome of your project.

Most of our projects can be completed in 6-8 weeks.
Larger projects will require more time.

Installation Services

Just like measuring, installation is a critical step in the process of purchasing custom treatments. The Finishing Touch will install your custom window treatments or will sub-contract out the installation to a licensed and experienced installer.

We want your window treatments to look just as beautiful in your home as they do in our Fabrication Studio. Professional installation will give you the look you are expecting. All of our installers are professionals and will leave your home neat and tidy after the installation.

Personal Shopping

Your time is valuable and you may require some assistance in selecting the perfect accessories to complete the look of your room. We will gladly assist you in shopping for that unique piece to set your house apart.
